Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record-Breaking Tourism Entry From the USA

NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for tourist arrivals in Israel from the United States in July and august. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019, while 71,000 American tourists visited Israel in August 2022.

Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was exciting to observe a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019 he stated.  נווה פריצקי "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Actually, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entry each month. This is a positive shift that we are very happy about and anticipate an increase in the years to come."

Just like the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing the number of tourists visiting Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) stated that "it is exciting to observe how Canada's travel to Israel is rebounding." "We are near our record 2019 numbers. We believe that this increase will continue as Canadians travel more abroad.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came of the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May saw more than 600,000.
